Operation Christmas Child

We are currently accepting donations to fill shoe boxes with appropriate items/gifts which will be sent to children around the world.  This is a great opportunity to touch the hearts of kids who are thousands of miles away, with the love of Jesus. To learn more about this world wide ministry, to give a financial gift or to donate items, please contact the office 614.861.6220.

Are memorable times as people give testimony of their decision to follow Christ.  A number of opportunities are available to serve every time we have this celebration!  A person can help as an assistant in a few different areas, such as providing a towel to someone getting out of the baptistry, or If you like photography, you could take a few quick pictures for keepsakes!  If you are gifted in the area of administration, perhaps you would consider being a ‘coordinator’ on the day of the baptism.  For more information, please contact: Richard Reiter at 614.452.0801 or richard.reiter@vccoh.com.

Youth For Christ

VCC hosts City Life two evenings a week which is currently on Monday’s and Wednesday’s.  This ministry reaches out to teens on the east side of Columbus. We are happy to have the opportunity to connect with them providing meals throughout the year.  For more information please contact Richard Reiter at 614.452.0801 or richard.reiter@vccoh.com.

HEART Food Pantry (H.E.A.R.T.)

We support the food pantry for the EAST SIDE area called HEART located: 6475 E. Main St., Suite 126 (Main Commerce Center; left hand side of the building.) HEART stands for “Helping Eastside And Reynoldsburg Neighbors Today.” The HEART Food Pantry opened its doors for the first time on November 12, 2011 to supplement and expand on what the Reynoldsburg Helping Hands food pantry is already doing in the community. Every month Vineyard volunteers can help stock shelves and assist clients shopping for food. Vineyard also collects food and funds to keep the pantry running. How can you help?

Currently the pantry is open on Wednesday and Saturday from 12:30 to 3:00pm. Volunteers are needed to operate the facility. Donations of food, personal care items, and monetary donations are always needed. Please contact the church office to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
